Approximately 1,600 assorted CDs and DVDs, arriving as we received them. Nothing has been scanned and nothing has been pulled out, so whatever came in is still on the pallet. Of everything we sell, this is the one with the most left to find.
We check the top layer and take out non-disc items and loose discs we can see. Below that it is as it came, so allow around 10 percent for non-disc items, loose discs and empty cases.

The majority of a pallet is in ordinary resale condition, the sort of stock you can put straight out on a table or list without a second thought.
Variance
Allow about 10 percent variance
Across a pallet, roughly 10 percent will be cases without a disc, cracked cases or heavier wear. That is normal at this volume.
The mix
A different mix every time
Pallets are made up as they come, so no two are alike and we cannot tell you in advance what is on a particular one or fill requests for specific titles, artists or genres. Stock ships in the condition it reached us.

Freight catches out most first-time pallet buyers, so here is the whole sequence before you commit to anything.

You place your order
Freight is quoted against your delivery address at checkout rather than estimated, so you see the real number before you commit. Choose lift gate service unless you have a dock and a forklift or pallet jack.

We book your freight
Dispatch times are listed on this page. Larger orders take longer to assemble and route, so get in touch for current lead times before you plan around a date.

The carrier calls to schedule
They telephone you to agree a delivery window, usually a day or two ahead. Answer that call. If they cannot reach you, storage charges can start to build up.

You inspect and sign
Check the wrap and the corners before you sign anything. Whatever you write on the delivery receipt is what protects your claim later. Getting the pallet inside is yours to arrange once it is off the truck.

Freight is priced at checkout
Enter your address at checkout and the freight price appears with your order total. There is nothing to arrange and no quote to request; we book the carrier and they deliver to you. Lift gate service costs more, and you need it unless you have a dock and a forklift or pallet jack to take the pallet off the truck.
How to keep your freight cost down
Freight is the biggest line in a single-pallet order, and it barely moves as you add pallets to the same shipment. Take four at a time and you pay considerably less per pallet delivered. Keep lift gate orders to six pallets or fewer so the shipment stays together, and talk to us about anything larger.
What is on the pallet, and what we can tell you in advance
Pallets are made up as stock comes in, so every one is different. We do not catalogue individual titles, which means we cannot tell you what is on a particular pallet and cannot fill requests for specific titles, artists or genres.
Arranging your own collection
You are welcome to collect. Will-call pickup runs near Burlington, New Jersey and near Menifee, California by arrangement. Get in touch before you order so we can enable it on your account and agree a time.
If your shipment arrives damaged
Note the damage on the delivery receipt before you sign it, and call us on 609-303-3480 while the driver is still with you. A clean signature tells the carrier the shipment arrived in good order, and it makes a freight claim much harder to win afterwards. Photograph anything visible before the truck leaves.
Our claims process, and the 10 day window
Everything is sold as is, so the mix of titles is not something we can take back. If the shipment itself is wrong, short, or damaged, we will put it right. Call us on 609-303-3480 or email info@bulkdiscs.com within 10 business days of delivery.
Hold on to the material while we sort it out. We will ask for photographs or video, and a scan report if the question is about shortages or resale value. Once it has gone we have no way to verify what arrived, which is the one thing that stops us helping.
